![]() ![]() Ilvl 630 will be max ilvl for the patch (besides 635 weapons from p8s) and the general goal to reach. This will be capped at 450 gainable per week and used to buy ilvl 620 items which will be upgradable into ilvl 630 gear. A new tomestone will also be introduced in 6.2, the allagan tomestone of causality. It will be great for the extreme trials we currently have access to (we're doing the extremes with that gear now, after all), but only barely passable for any new extremes in 6.2 or 6.3, or maybe not good enough at all. That will be good enough for casual content in 6.2 but not for the new savage raids. Once 6.2 drops you will be able to easily get ilvl 600 gear, which is the current best for 6.1. But it's free! It's basically ilvl 610 gear for poor people. ![]() Limbo gear ffxiv full#It will take you 6 weeks (I think) to get a full set of normal raid gear if you ration your loot allowance well. These raids will be capped so you won't be able to get gear quickly. And once 6.2 comes out, the new raids will be here as well. It will last you until 6.2 when new gear comes out. Limbo gear ffxiv free#It's not as good as crafted gear because it can't be overmelded, but it's easy and free to get. It's uncapped, you can run it many times a day and get multiple pieces a day. If you don't have money.įor now, run the Endwalker normal raids for gear tokens, which can be exchanged for ilvl 580 Limbo gear. If you have money, save it for that gear because it will be the best you can get at the very beginning of 6.2. I'm expecting maybe 500k for a full set, probably more. You can get it off the market board, but it will be very expensive unless you have a crafter friend who can you make it for you. If you want to get into raiding, crafted pentamelded gear is the standard for the first few weeks of the tier. Everyone will be switching over to it to start raiding once the new savage raids drop. The new crafted set will ilvl 610, which is better than the current best gear. Actually, all current gear will be basically obsolete in a month (besides for DSR BiS), so don't stress it too much! You should really look up the changes coming in 6.2 so you don't waste resources getting things that will be useless in a month. HOWEVER the new set of crafted gear is going to drop with 6.2 in late August, and the classical set will obsolete in about a month so you may as well not bother and just save your gil. You can spend astronomy tomestones to augment the crafted gear to ilvl 590, which is decent even for savage raiding and perfectly fine for the extreme trials we have now. If you're only just about to hit 90, you can get a set of classical lvl 90 gear off the MB for 100k or less, depending on class. Coincidentally, we're coming up on a big patch. You can look at sub-stats once you figure out ilvl.Ĭrafted gear is almost always the best you can hope to get at the beginning of a big expansion or big patch. You always want gear with a higher item level than your current stuff. One thing to remember: item level is king. This is long, but I want to cover all the bases here. ![]()
